One Louisville Launches New Chamber Membership Model, Reopens Applications

LOUISVILLE, Ky (August 10, 2026) – One Louisville, the region’s combined chamber and economic development organization formed earlier this year through the coming together of Greater Louisville Inc. (GLI) and the Louisville Economic Development Authority (LEDA), today announced the rollout of a new chamber membership model and the reopening of membership applications.

The new model is the product of months of conversations with hundreds of businesses across the region about what they want and need from chamber membership. That direct feedback shaped a structure built to be simpler, more consistent, and more useful at every business stage.

“When we talked with businesses across our region, we heard a consistent message: make it easier to engage, easier to understand, and more valuable,” said Trevor Pawl, CEO of One Louisville. “That’s exactly what this new model delivers. Bringing GLI and LEDA together gave us the chance to build something around the needs of today’s businesses. We’re excited to offer a more dynamic way for companies to connect with each other and invest in Louisville’s future.

Key features of the new membership model include:

  • Five simple tiers built around business stage — from businesses just getting established to those actively growing, each tier is designed around where a business actually is.
  • Transparent, consistent pricing — every business at a given stage pays the same rate, so cost reflects what’s included, consistently across the board.
  • Expanded value at every level — including resource navigation, event access, and member discounts not previously available.

Existing memberships were transitioned to this new model on August 3, 2026. Because pricing is now standardized by stage, some members’ investment will shift up or down depending on where their business lands in the new model: a change that reflects a fairer, more transparent system overall. Existing members have already received communication about their suggested new membership level.
