Medvantx Cuts Ribbon on Newly Expanded Louisville Operation, a $26.8 Million Investment Creating 122 New Jobs
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Sept. 16, 2026) – Today, One Louisville joined state and local officials and leaders from Medvantx, a leading pharmacy services company, to cut the ribbon on the company’s newly expanded, high-capacity distribution facility in Louisville. With a nearly $27 million investment, Medvantx is creating 122 new Kentucky jobs helping to distribute prescriptions across Kentucky and the rest of the United States and its territories.

The expanded operation enables Medvantx to increase its current pharmacy distribution capabilities to support future growth, more than doubling the company’s Kentucky footprint. Developed in collaboration with UPS Healthcare and Innovation Associates (iA), the new facility leverages best-in-class pharmacy automation technologies to increase throughput and reduce manual touchpoints, supporting compliant pharmaceutical fulfillment. The Louisville operation specializes in serving patients in need through a variety of pharmaceutical industry-sponsored programs, from dispensing and shipping free or low-cost medications to providing patient counseling with pharmacists on staff.

To encourage investment and job growth in the community, the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority (KEDFA) in October 2024 preliminarily approved an incentive agreement with the company under the Kentucky Business Investment program.
