One Louisville announces inaugural Board of Directors

65 business, community leaders will guide the new organization’s strategic direction

Louisville, Ky. (May 13, 2026) – Following its first official meeting, One Louisville announced the 65 business and elected leaders that will make up its 2026 – 2027 Board of Directors. One Louisville’s Board is governed by an executive committee of 20 business leaders, and chaired by Matt Thornton, Principal of Thornton Capital. Thornton will serve a two-year term as board chair. Lance Mann, Assurance Director and Louisville Market Leader for Dean Dorton, will serve as vice chair.

“One Louisville’s mission is to accelerate economic growth across all industries, and our board is a direct representation of the diversity of industry our region offers,” said Thornton. “It is an honor to lead the board and work closely with the One Louisville team to drive big results for the Louisville region over the coming years.”

One Louisville’s governance structure also includes a permanent seat for the Mayor of Louisville and four members of Louisville Metro Council as Ex-Officio members to allow for public oversight. Board terms will be three years with no term limits.

One Louisville was created in March through the combination of Greater Louisville Inc. and the Louisville Economic Development Alliance as a public-private partnership that puts the city’s economic development organization and Chamber of Commerce under one roof. During its first official meeting, the One Louisville board voted on bylaws, heard updates on strategic priorities, and shared feedback on metrics and expectations for the new organization.
